Mumbai, March 27: In the ever-evolving film industry, adapting and learning daily is crucial. Actress Neena Gupta believes that there is no age limit to learning. She recently shared her experiences of working with young artists, highlighting how this collaboration keeps her updated. In a video posted on Instagram, Gupta discussed how connecting with the new generation helps her stay in tune with contemporary trends.
In the video, Neena Gupta stated, “Currently, I am working with young girls in a series, and I am learning a lot from them. I am discovering what today’s music is like, the language people use, current fashion trends, and how to effectively utilize social media—all thanks to the young artists I collaborate with.”
She added, “There are many things I wasn’t aware of before, but I am gradually understanding them. This experience is incredibly special for me, as it is transforming both my thinking and understanding.”
Neena Gupta emphasized, “Working with the younger generation has provided me with a fresh perspective. It helps me understand how people think today and how they live their lives. A dear friend of mine, Mr. Talwar (who is no longer with us), once told me that when he was young, he learned from older people, and as he grew older, he began to spend time with youth to learn new things.”
This advice resonated deeply with Gupta, and she has incorporated it into her life.
She concluded, “I now intentionally surround myself with young people and strive to learn. I believe that if a person stops learning, they fall behind. Therefore, I make an effort to learn something new every day, no matter how small. This mindset keeps me relevant in the industry.”
