Amaravati, June 5: The ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Andhra Pradesh will celebrate two years of governance with three major rallies. These events are scheduled to take place from June 9 to June 15 in Tirupati, Amaravati, and Visakhapatnam.
This decision was made during a coordination meeting of NDA allies, chaired by Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader N. Chandrababu Naidu. The meeting included Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party (JSP) president Pawan Kalyan, BJP state president P.V.N. Madhav, state minister and JSP leader Nandendla Manohar, and TDP state president Palla Srinivasa Rao.
After the meeting, Nandendla Manohar informed the media that the rally in Tirupati will be held on June 9, followed by Amaravati on June 12, and Visakhapatnam on June 15.
NDA allies have prepared a joint action plan for these events, showcasing the achievements of both the central and state governments over the past two years.
Each rally will focus on different themes. The main theme for the Tirupati rally will be welfare schemes, while the Amaravati rally will emphasize good governance, and the Visakhapatnam rally will center on development.
TDP state president Palla Srinivasa Rao announced that a public outreach campaign will also be conducted across all districts from June 13 to June 20, highlighting the accomplishments of both the state and central governments. Central ministers are expected to participate in these programs.
Nandendla Manohar stated that 24 major schemes and initiatives implemented during the NDA government’s 24-month tenure will be presented to the public through a special campaign. He emphasized that the coalition aims to seek the public’s blessings once again.
BJP state president Madhav noted that the NDA’s goal is to inform the public about the governance of both the central and state governments over the past two years, as well as the developments and changes under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 12-year leadership.
He highlighted key issues such as significant industrial investments attracted to the state, the progress of the Polavaram project and Amaravati initiatives, and the establishment of the Visakhapatnam railway zone.
