Aurangabad, August 22: Vijay Rahatkar, the Chairperson of the National Commission for Women (NCW), led a discussion on women’s empowerment and policing against cybercrime for Maharashtra police officials during a capacity-building program on Saturday. An official confirmed this information.
Rahatkar’s two-day visit included a poetry evening titled “Nari Hunkar,” organized in collaboration with the Maharashtra State Women’s Commission and Yashoda AI, focusing on empowerment and security.
The NCW Chairperson stated that the “Nari Hunkar” initiative is a powerful effort to spread the message of women’s empowerment, respect, and equality to every individual.
According to a statement released by the NCW, the event featured passionate poetry from renowned poets such as Kavita Tiwari, Sonal Jain, Deepa Saini, and Sarita Jain, making the evening memorable.
The event, adorned with intense thoughts, powerful words, sensitive emotions, and shades of humor, transformed the atmosphere into a realm of poetry.
Praising the participants, Rahatkar emphasized that words have the power to change society. Poetry is not merely an expression of emotions; it is a powerful medium to convey thoughts, voice sensitivity, and ignite awareness for positive change.
She further noted that the “Nari Hunkar” poetry evening is a beautiful example of this power.
Earlier, in a message on the social media platform X, the NCW Chairperson shared her thoughts on marriage.
She wrote that marriage is not about completeness but about patience. It is not just about living under one roof; it involves understanding each other and walking together through every phase of life. When communication begins before marriage, the journey of relationships becomes easier and stronger.
Rahatkar also encouraged women to realize their dreams.
