Itanagar, September 14 (Daily Kiran) : The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has announced an exciting opportunity for job seekers in the state. A notification has been released for the recruitment of eligible candidates for various Group A and Group B, gazetted (technical) positions through the combined recruitment examination for 2026 (Part II).
The announcement includes 37 vacancies across several key roles. These consist of seven positions for Finance and Accounts Officer/Treasury Officer in the Finance Department, seven for Sub-Treasury Officer, five for Assistant Director in the Home Department, and 18 for Assistant Public Prosecutor, also in the Home Department.
The application process will commence on September 21 at 10 PM and will close on October 12. Interested candidates are encouraged to visit the official APPSC website to complete their registration before the application deadline, which is set for 5 PM on the final day.
Candidates applying for these positions must hold a relevant degree from a recognized institution or university. Additionally, applicants for the Assistant Director and Assistant Public Prosecutor roles are required to have at least seven years of experience in the relevant field.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 21 years, while the maximum age is capped at 35 years, based on the application submission deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation per government rules.
Selection for the roles will be based on a series of steps, including application screening, written examinations, and document verification. Successful candidates can expect a monthly salary ranging from ₹44,900 to ₹1,77,500, along with additional benefits and allowances.
All applicants must pay a prescribed application fee of ₹200 online. However, candidates belonging to the Persons with Disabilities (PWD) category are exempt from this fee.
