Mumbai Police Successfully Rescues Missing Woman After 15 Days

Mumbai, March 18: The Mumbai police have achieved a significant success by safely recovering a 52-year-old mentally ill woman and reuniting her with her family. The return of the woman has brought immense relief to her loved ones.

Under the directives of Mumbai Police Commissioner Deven Bharti, a special operation has been launched to locate missing women and children. After 15 days of diligent efforts, the Andheri police found Ratna Dharmendra Yadav, who had been missing for several days.

Ratna disappeared from the Saiwadi area of Andheri East. Her daughter filed a complaint with the police, which led to the registration of a missing persons case. Subsequently, the Andheri police initiated a special operation to locate her.

The police team meticulously searched every small and large path, neighborhood, and surrounding areas. Using CCTV footage and technical investigations, they discovered that Ratna was temporarily residing in a homeless shelter in Chembur.

One of the biggest challenges during the investigation was that Ratna was mentally unwell and unable to speak. This made it difficult to locate and safely bring her back. The police worked with great patience and understanding, ultimately ensuring her safe return to her family.

Her daughter and family praised the Mumbai police for their dedication and effort, which greatly aided in the search for Ratna. They expressed their gratitude towards the police for their support.

The police stated that they are running a special campaign to locate missing women and children. Taking such cases seriously, police teams promptly engage in the search for missing individuals. In this instance, Ratna was safely recovered and returned to her family.
