Wakode, a second-year B.Tech student in the Energy Science and Engineering department, was found hanging in his hostel room on the evening of September 18, shortly after being caught allegedly using a mobile phone during mid-semester exams.
Dula, who was supervising the exam, reported the incident according to established protocols. Initial reports suggested that Wakode had uploaded exam questions to an artificial intelligence platform using his phone. However, the institution later declined to provide further details, stating that an investigation is underway.
