Beijing, October 14 (Daily Kiran): Motorola has launched a refreshed version of its Moto G100 smartphone in China, featuring a massive 7,000mAh battery and an updated Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. The device joins the newly introduced Moto X70 Air, expanding Motorola’s mid-range lineup in the region.

The new Moto G100 marks the revival of a name first used in 2021 but now comes with several modern upgrades. The phone features a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a smooth viewing experience. It packs up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, ensuring solid performance for multitasking and gaming.
On the camera front, the device sports a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera on the back, while selfies are handled by a 32MP front shooter. The phone runs Android 15 out of the box and comes with IP64-rated dust and water resistance.
One of the biggest highlights is its 7,000mAh battery, paired with 30W fast charging, promising extended endurance for power users.
Lenovo China has priced the Moto G100 at CNY 1,399 (approximately ₹16,300) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Pre-orders are now live, with shipments set to begin on October 23.
Industry sources suggest that this model shares similarities with the Moto G36, which could launch as the global version of the new Moto G100 in select markets.
