More than 50 schools in the national capital Delhi received bomb threat emails on Wednesday morning, creating panic among students, parents, and school administrations. Schools That Received Threats
According to information, threatening emails were received around 7:40 and 7:42 am at schools including SKV Hauz Rani in Malviya Nagar, Andhra School in Karol Bagh, and schools in Najafgarh and Prasad Nagar. Bomb Threat Emails Continue in Delhi
This is not the first time schools in Delhi have received bomb threats. In recent months, especially in May and July 2025, dozens of schools in Delhi received similar threat emails, which were later found to be hoaxes. Recently, more than 35 schools had received such threats, which also turned out to be false.
Police and Administration Action
After receiving the threats, Delhi Police, bomb disposal squads, and fire department teams reached the affected schools. Schools were evacuated and students were shifted to safe locations. A senior police officer stated that the cyber forensic team is working to trace the IP address of the emails.
