Minister Ashok Chaudhary Claims Conspiracy to Undermine Indias Image at AI Summit

Patna, February 24: Bihar government minister Ashok Chaudhary has responded to the arrest of Uday Bhanu Chhib, the national president of the Indian Youth Congress, by Delhi Police. He stated that the protest by the Youth Congress at the AI Summit was part of a conspiracy to tarnish India’s image globally.

Chaudhary emphasized that the matter will be addressed in court. He noted that just because Chhib was not present at the protest does not mean he was directly involved. “Sometimes, individuals make decisions on their own,” he said. However, as the president of the Youth Congress, it is his responsibility to manage his organization. He condemned the protest at the AI Summit as inappropriate and detrimental to national interests, asserting it was an attempt to damage India’s reputation on the global stage.

RLM legislator Madhav Anand questioned who would be Chhib’s chief, suggesting that no action could have been taken without the approval of the Congress high command. He expressed concern that the actions taken have harmed the country’s dignity and reputation, urging for identification and action against those responsible.

Anand further stated that the Congress staged a protest on a global platform that was linked to India’s honor. He alleged that Rahul Gandhi guided the Youth Congress president and others involved, positioning him as the mastermind behind the event. “I believe the government should take action, regardless of how influential the individuals involved may be,” he added.

In response to Congress MP Imran Masood’s comments, Anand asserted that all communities in India coexist peacefully. He clarified that no one is falsely implicated. Bihar’s Chief Minister is known for good governance, and he neither frames nor protects anyone. He warned that those found involved will not be spared, dismissing claims of targeting a specific community as a lack of understanding.
