Doha, March 7: The ongoing Middle East crisis has significantly impacted air travel. Following Emirates Airlines, Dubai Airport has announced a partial resumption of flights. Amidst this, the Indian Embassy in Qatar has issued an advisory for Indian nationals facing difficulties with tourist visas.
The embassy shared a link on the X platform, stating, “Indian citizens stranded in Qatar as tourists or short-term visitors (Hayya A1 visa) due to flight cancellations between February 28 and March 7, 2026, should fill in their details using the link provided here.”
It was noted that due to technical issues, the previous link is no longer in use, and a new link has been activated. The embassy urged individuals to provide their information via the updated link and to avoid resubmitting details already shared.
The embassy remains in constant contact with Indian citizens. Previously, a link was shared, but several users reported issues accessing it. Complaints included difficulties in opening or downloading the form. In response to these concerns, the new link has been suggested.
As the conflict between the U.S.-Israel and Iran enters its eighth day, airstrikes continue from both sides. Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Pajeshkian made headlines with a statement aired on state television, where he apologized to Gulf nations and declared that Iran would refrain from attacks unless its territory is used against them.
