Massive Fire Breaks Out at Noida Factory, Firefighters Contain Blaze

Noida, May 2: A severe fire erupted at a cardboard factory in Sector 8 of Noida on Saturday, causing panic in the area. The incident occurred at the factory located at address F-128, with reports of the fire coming in around 4:30 AM. The flames spread rapidly, engulfing a significant portion of the factory.

Upon receiving the alert, fire department teams rushed to the scene. Given the seriousness of the situation, a total of 10 fire engines were deployed. After several hours of intense effort, firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control. Fortunately, there have been no reports of casualties so far.

Local residents noted that the fire produced a thick cloud of smoke, creating a sense of fear among those nearby. For a brief period, chaos ensued in the vicinity. However, the swift action by the fire department prevented the flames from spreading to other factories and buildings in the area. The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.

Initial investigations suggest a possible short circuit as the cause, but this has not been officially confirmed. The relevant authorities are conducting an inquiry into the matter. It is important to note that Noida and the entire NCR region are currently experiencing extreme heat, leading to a rise in fire incidents. In light of this, local administration and fire officials have urged factory owners and the public to remain vigilant and adhere to safety protocols.
