Mumbai, August 29: Actor Jan Khan is currently captivating audiences in the TV series “Dil Se Diwani Tak.” He believes that an actor should not be confined to any specific medium but should work with honesty and dedication.
Khan shared that actors must evolve with time. He stated, “I have worked in films, web shows, music videos, and television. Now I am doing a vertical show, and who knows what I might do next? As an actor, we must always give our best. The days of thinking that a specific type of work will lead to similar opportunities are over.”
He added, “You never know who the producer or director is, where they might see you, or how they will notice your talent. I believe there is no godfather who will cast me in a big-budget film. Therefore, I strive to give my best in every project, whether it’s an advertisement, a vertical show, a film, or a TV series.”
Khan expresses his love for his audience through his work. He mentioned, “Working almost every day of the year is not easy, but I enjoy what I do.”
When asked how he thinks audiences will remember him after the show ends, he replied, “I believe they will remember that perhaps for the first time, they saw a character like Jahan in a vertical format. This character is everywhere, with Sia, Abir, and Shivay. My producer, Tabrez Sir, told me early on that Jahan is not an easy role. He advised me to think carefully about this character because it demands a lot from me. This is not just another vertical show that we can quickly shoot and finish. Jahan has a journey, and we are committed to portraying that journey.”
Khan expressed his desire to take on intense love stories in the future. He said, “I want to play a character that makes people feel that love should be this intense. I also enjoy performing emotional scenes. I believe everyone should know their strengths. Personally, I think I can make people cry because I am very emotional in real life.”
He also revealed that “Veer-Zaara” is his favorite film.
