Mumbai, August 28: Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan joined the Pataudi family this year for their Raksha Bandhan celebration. She was accompanied by her husband Saif Ali Khan, sister-in-law Soha, and Saif’s children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim.
Soha shared glimpses of the Raksha Bandhan festivities on social media. The Pataudi family posed in traditional attire, while Kareena opted for a relaxed look in a casual blue T-shirt and loose hair.
Among the photos was a lovely family snapshot featuring Ibrahim, Taimur, and Jeh showcasing their rakhi. Both Ibrahim and Taimur sported identical football-themed rakhis on their wrists.
In one of the pictures, Soha affectionately kissed her brother Saif on the cheek. A photo of Soha’s daughter Inaya was also shared, where she was tying a rakhi on her cousin Ibrahim.
Sharing the pictures on Instagram, Soha wrote, “Happy Raksha Bandhan to those who make us feel loved, safe, and at home.” In response, Saba commented, “Love you sis and brother too! To those who made it special… Happy Rakhi!”
Additionally, Sara also showcased moments from the Raksha Bandhan celebration with her brother Ibrahim on social media. The sibling duo posed in front of the home temple, where a statue of Lord Ganesha was placed. Ibrahim was seen kissing Sara on the cheek while holding a plate for the puja.
On the work front, Kareena will soon be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s film ‘Daira’. In a recent social media post, she mentioned that playing the role of ACP Ajuuni Kohli allowed her to deeply understand the realities people may not always confront.
The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role and is set to release in theaters on September 18 this year.
