Major Trains to Stop at Adarsh Nagar Station Following Chief Ministers Request

New Delhi, July 11: Chief Minister Rekha Gupta’s efforts are set to benefit millions of rail passengers in North and West Delhi. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has approved the stop of two significant trains at Adarsh Nagar Station, following the Chief Minister’s request. This change will greatly ease travel for tourists heading to Himachal Pradesh and pilgrims visiting key religious sites in Punjab.

In a letter to Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw confirmed the approval for the stops at Adarsh Nagar Station. According to the approval, Train No. 14331, the Delhi-Kalka Express, and Train No. 14053, the Delhi-Daulatpur Chowk Himachal Express, will now halt at this station.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for this decision. She emphasized that the Delhi government prioritizes the daily needs and conveniences of its citizens. The addition of these train stops will save time for residents of North and West Delhi, making travel more convenient and alleviating the need to travel to New Delhi or Old Delhi railway stations.

The stop of the Delhi-Kalka Express at Adarsh Nagar will directly benefit passengers traveling to Kurukshetra, Chandigarh, and Kalka. Additionally, this facility will be extremely useful for tourists heading to various tourist destinations in Himachal Pradesh. Similarly, the halt of the Delhi-Daulatpur Chowk Himachal Express will provide significant relief to pilgrims and travelers visiting Kurukshetra, Fatehgarh Sahib, Anandpur Sahib, and other regions in Himachal Pradesh. Notably, visiting important religious sites like Sri Fatehgarh Sahib and Sri Anandpur Sahib will now be much easier for residents of North and West Delhi.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta stated that the Delhi government is continuously working to coordinate with the central government on all citizen-related issues to provide better facilities. The approval for these train stops at Adarsh Nagar Station is a significant step in this direction, directly benefiting a large number of passengers daily.
