Major Arrest in Delhi: Rohit Chaudhary Gang Member Captured

New Delhi, March 26: The Delhi Police Crime Branch’s NR-II team has achieved a significant breakthrough. Under the vigilant supervision of ACP Girish Kaushik and the skilled leadership of Inspector Sandeep Swami, the police have apprehended Pradeep Gulati, also known as Paras.

Pradeep Gulati is an active member of the Rohit Chaudhary gang and resides in Kalakaji, Delhi. A large quantity of illegal weapons and ammunition was seized from him. Following this arrest, a case has been registered under the relevant sections of law.

Head Constable Sumit Kumar received intelligence regarding the gang’s involvement in extortion, illegal arms supply, and violent activities. Subsequently, a team from the Crime Branch commenced surveillance and investigation. During the probe, it was discovered that Arvind Gupta, alias Disilva, an active member of the Rohit Chaudhary gang, was supplying illegal weapons and planning serious crimes such as kidnapping and extortion. Further investigation revealed that his associate, Pradeep Gulati, was stockpiling weapons in Kalakaji.

On February 26, a team led by Inspector Sandeep Kumar and monitored by ACP Girish Kaushik was deployed to verify this information and apprehend the criminals. The team conducted careful ground surveillance based on intelligence and executed the operation with complete safety.

After the arrest, interrogation of Pradeep Gulati revealed that he is a close associate of Arvind Gupta. He disclosed that Gupta had provided him with weapons and ammunition a month ago for safekeeping, intended for future extortion and terror-related crimes.

The police recovered three semi-automatic pistols, one country-made pistol, and 22 live rounds in a red bag from his possession.

According to reports, Pradeep Gulati hails from Jalandhar, Punjab, but his family settled in Dabri, Janakpuri, Delhi, in 1998. He completed his education up to the 10th grade but fell into bad company and developed habits of gambling and drinking. After suffering significant losses in cricket betting, he faced financial pressure. About a year ago, he met Arvind Gupta, who recruited him into the gang, and he began working for them.
