
Lucknow, March 30: The Uttar Pradesh government has executed a significant administrative reshuffle. Nine senior IAS officers have been transferred and assigned new responsibilities. Several officials have also been given additional charges alongside their current positions.
IAS officer M. Devaraj has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Appointment and Personnel Department, along with becoming the Director General of the Uttar Pradesh Academy of Administration and Management. Anurag Yadav has transitioned from the IT and Electronics Department to serve as the Principal Secretary of the Social Welfare and Soldier Welfare Department. Meanwhile, Alok Kumar has been entrusted with the additional charge of the IT and Electronics Department.
Saurabh Babu has been appointed as the Director General of the Rural Development and Rural Engineering Services Department, as well as the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya State Rural Development Institute. Ravi Ranjan has been moved from the Uttar Pradesh Electronics Corporation and UP Agro to become the Special Secretary in the Department of Medical, Health, and Family Welfare.
Additionally, T.K. Shibu has been given the responsibility of the Managing Director of UP Agro along with the Agricultural Production Commissioner branch. Himanshu Kaushik has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Uttar Pradesh Electronics Corporation. IAS officer Soumya Gururani, who is currently awaiting posting, has been designated as the Municipal Commissioner of Shahjahanpur. Dr. Bipin Kumar Mishra has been transferred from the Shahjahanpur Municipal Corporation to become the Additional Managing Director of the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation.
Earlier this month, the Yogi government had already transferred seven IAS, seven IPS, and four PCS officers. Additionally, seven IPS officers received new postings. IAS officer Lokesh M has been assigned to the PWD department after being on hold. The SSP of Badaun was also transferred.
The transferred IAS officers include Neena Sharma, Sanjay Kumar, Mahendra Prasad, Raghuveer, Ashish Kumar, and Prakash Bindu.
