Ranchi, July 11: The police in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, are actively pursuing suspects involved in the murder of Himanshu Singh, a young leader of the Karni Sena. District SP Lalit Meena confirmed that the main suspect, Rahul Dubey, has been arrested outside the DD Bar. The weapon used in the crime, a sharp object, has also been recovered.
To facilitate the investigation, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed. So far, a total of 13 suspects have been detained. On Friday, another suspect named Rahul Dubey was apprehended, and police seized the weapon used in the incident from him.
The SP noted that Dubey has a prior criminal record with multiple cases registered against him at various police stations. The number of individuals involved in this case is significant, but all suspects are currently in custody and being interrogated.
The SP added that the investigation is ongoing, with only one suspect, Arvind, still at large. Police efforts to locate him are continuing.
