Mahindra has launched the all-new XUV 7XO in India, priced between ₹13.66 lakh and ₹22.47 lakh (ex-showroom). The introductory pricing is available exclusively for the first 40,000 customers. This new model is a facelifted version of the popular XUV 700, featuring significant design and technology upgrades.
The updated Mahindra XUV 7XO comes with a refreshed front fascia that includes redesigned headlamp housings with new LED daytime running lights, a more sophisticated grille, and a reshaped bumper fitted with slimmer fog lamps and a silver skid plate. The SUV retains its familiar silhouette, reminiscent of the XUV 700, but now sports aero-treated alloy wheels for a modern touch. At the rear, the tail lamp housing has been redesigned with a hexagonal pattern, and the tailgate displays the new XUV 7XO badging along with an updated bumper.
On the hardware front, Mahindra has introduced a new suspension system called the ‘Davinci damper’ to enhance ride comfort, especially on rough terrain. Safety features have also been improved with enhanced ADAS radar and camera systems, upgrading the vehicle’s driver assistance capabilities.
The XUV 7XO is packed with advanced features including three 12.3-inch screens serving as the digital instrument cluster, central infotainment, and front passenger display. It offers wireless charging extended to the rear seats with active cooling, dual-zone climate control, ventilated seats, second-row slide and recline, and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) functionality similar to that in the XEV 9S. The SUV also supports Alexa and ChatGPT integration, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos with 16 speakers for an immersive audio-visual experience. Additional highlights include a panoramic sunroof with improved UV protection, powered front seats with memory function, ambient lighting, and a 540-degree camera system.
Powertrain options remain unchanged, with a choice between a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine, both available with manual and automatic transmissions. The all-wheel-drive system is reserved for the top-spec variant.
The Mahindra XUV 7XO is offered in six variants: AX, AX3, AX5, AX7, AX7T, and AX7L. The petrol AX variant starts at ₹13.66 lakh, while the base diesel variant is priced at ₹14.96 lakh (ex-showroom). The AX7 diesel manual variant costs ₹18.95 lakh, and the top-end AX7L diesel manual is priced at ₹22.47 lakh. Deliveries for the AX7, AX7T, and AX7L variants will begin immediately for pre-booked customers, while AX, AX3, and AX5 variants are expected to be delivered from April 2026.
