Key Features of ChatGPT Go

OpenAI designed the Go plan to offer ChatGPT features at the lowest possible price. In addition to everything available in the free tier, subscribers get extended access to GPT-5. The company has also introduced payment options through credit card and UPI, making it easier for Indian users to subscribe.

With the new plan, subscribers will receive a higher message limit, more daily image generations, additional file uploads, and access to advanced data analysis tools like Python. The Go plan also offers double the memory compared to free accounts. OpenAI says this plan is ideal for users who want more features without paying the higher prices of the Plus or Pro plans. The Plus plan, priced at ₹1,999 per month, offers GPT-4o and advanced tools like Deep Research, Connectors, and Sora video creation. The Go tier focuses on usage and affordability.

API Not Included in Go Subscription

ChatGPT Go is being rolled out gradually across India. Users can check availability by logging into their ChatGPT account, tapping the profile icon, and selecting the upgrade plan option. If available, users can subscribe by selecting ‘Try Go’. Go plan features are accessible on ChatGPT mobile apps and 1-800-ChatGPT on WhatsApp. It is important to note that API usage is not part of this subscription and must be paid for separately.

Payment Modes Upgraded

OpenAI has enabled local payment options for the Go tier. Now, users can pay for their subscription via credit card or UPI. The subscription is billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time.
