
New Delhi, April 1: The Ayush Ministry has launched a unique photography contest under the theme “Yoga is My Pride.” This initiative invites people from across the country to capture yoga poses through their cameras. The announcement was made via the ministry’s social media platforms.
The contest aims to raise awareness about yoga and provide a platform for participants to showcase their creativity.
Participants are encouraged to share their best yoga pose photographs. According to the organizers, “Just one photo could make you a winner,” generating significant enthusiasm among youth and photography enthusiasts.
Attractive cash prizes have been announced for the winners. The first-place winner will receive ₹75,000, the second-place winner will get ₹50,000, and the third-place winner will earn ₹25,000.
Interested participants can apply until April 20. Through this contest, the government aims to promote yoga and inspire individuals to incorporate it into their lifestyles.
The selection process will occur in two phases: shortlisting and final evaluation. A screening committee will prepare a shortlist of eligible participants based on established criteria. The final winners will be chosen by a panel of prominent and esteemed yoga experts.
The Ayush Ministry has stated that interested individuals should visit the dedicated contest page on MyGov, select their application category, and fill out their information as requested in the participation form. They should upload their details, review the terms and conditions, and click submit. The deadline for submitting information is April 20, 2026.
