
Bhopal, September 16 (Daily Kiran) : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced a ten-day Angan Milan program focused on the welfare and empowerment of women and children. This initiative is part of the Seva Sankalp campaign, which coincides with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17.
The Angan Milan program will run from September 26 to October 5, aiming to enhance the well-being and empowerment of women and children across the state. Yadav emphasized that Prime Minister Modi has consistently prioritized women’s empowerment, implementing significant initiatives to make women self-reliant and integrate them into the development mainstream.
He also referred to the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, which provides for women’s reservation in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies. Despite opposition from rival parties, Yadav expressed confidence that women will eventually gain their rightful place in society.
The Chief Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to providing more opportunities and respect for women, stating, “A strong woman leads to a strong family and a strong Madhya Pradesh.” This reflects the government’s dedication to fostering an empowered community through this program.
