According to the state government’s approval, the arrears from July 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, will be paid in six equal installments. The first installment will be disbursed in May, followed by payments in June, July, August, September, and October.

For retired and deceased government employees during the period from January 2025 to March 31, 2026, the arrears will be paid as a lump sum to them or their designated beneficiaries. Pensioners and family pensioners will receive a pension relief of 58% under the seventh pay scale and 257% under the sixth pay scale, in accordance with a letter from the Chhattisgarh government dated February 9, 2026.
