Lucknow, April 12: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will host Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium this Sunday. In the 19th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, LSG is eager to secure a hat-trick of victories.
LSG faced a setback in their opening match against Delhi Capitals, losing by six wickets. However, they bounced back with a five-wicket win against Sunrisers Hyderabad and followed it up with a three-wicket victory over Kolkata Knight Riders.
On the other hand, GT struggled initially, losing their first match to Punjab Kings by three wickets and then narrowly falling to Rajasthan Royals by six runs. They finally managed to open their account with a close one-run victory against Delhi Capitals.
The impressive win against Delhi Capitals at Arun Jaitley Stadium could be a turning point for Gujarat Titans. Under the leadership of Shubman Gill, it will be interesting to see if they can maintain this momentum in the upcoming match in Lucknow.
