Srinagar, March 3: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha of Jammu and Kashmir chaired a high-level security review meeting to assess the security situation in light of recent events in Iran. Officials provided this information on Tuesday.
The meeting took place at the Lok Bhawan in the Chief Secretary’s office, where the Lieutenant Governor reviewed the current security preparations in the Union Territory. Key participants included Northern Command Chief Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Jammu and Kashmir Police Director General Nalin Prabhat, and Commander of the 15 Corps in Srinagar, Lieutenant General Prashant Srivastava, along with other senior officials.
During the meeting, officials briefed the Lieutenant Governor on counter-terror operations, border management, intelligence coordination, and the conditions in sensitive districts.
