Patna, August 6: Let’s Inspire Bihar (LIB) has responded to the allegations made by opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav against IG Vikas Vaibhav. LIB officials have dismissed Yadav’s claims as completely baseless, asserting that Vaibhav’s work ethic has always been impartial, honest, and dedicated.
They further stated that the accusations regarding the murder of an officer in Dehri and the subsequent investigation are unfounded. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has already been established to look into the matter.
Retired Wing Commander Upendra Kumar Tripathi, associated with Let’s Inspire Bihar, expressed that the accusations against IG Vikas Vaibhav have caused deep distress among all members. Yadav alleged that LIB is a platform with political motives that could influence investigations, while the reality is quite the opposite.
Tripathi emphasized that for Vaibhav, caste, religion, and gender discrimination hold no significance. Integrity, diligence, and truthfulness are his highest principles. The initial investigation into the matter has already been made public, and an SIT has been formed for further inquiry. Therefore, spreading confusion regarding the investigation is inappropriate. He urged all Bihar residents to join this campaign and contribute to the state’s development.
LIB coordinator Ganesh Kumar also labeled Yadav’s allegations as entirely unfounded. He stated that the entire nation trusts Vaibhav’s work ethic, and he has fulfilled every responsibility with utmost honesty and dedication. In every location where Vaibhav has served, his efforts continue to be appreciated.
Citing the example of Rohtas district, Kumar mentioned that post-independence, the honor of hoisting the national flag at Rohtas Fort also belongs to Vaibhav. He claimed that despite challenging circumstances, Vaibhav successfully fulfilled his responsibilities during that time. It is unfortunate to politicize such an officer. A mere photograph with leaders from various political parties or social activists at a public event cannot be considered evidence of political connections. He urged Tejashwi Yadav to refrain from making such statements without facts, as it could affect his political credibility.
Regarding the officer’s murder case in Dehri, Kumar noted that upon receiving news of the incident, Vaibhav was the first to arrive at the scene and expedite the investigation process. He stated that an officer who acts with such promptness should be commended, not subjected to unfounded accusations. He appealed to the opposition leader to avoid making statements, adding that if such allegations persist, the organization is prepared to respond robustly with factual evidence.
