Congress Leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury Accuses BJP of Fear Over Rahul Gandhi
Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury claims the BJP fears Rahul Gandhi, mobilizing resources to undermine him while he fights for justice.

Murshidabad, October 17 (Daily Kiran) : Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, a prominent Congress leader, asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is intimidated by Rahul Gandhi. He claimed that the entire government apparatus is being deployed to undermine Gandhi and portray him as insignificant. Chowdhury emphasized that Gandhi is engaged in a fight for justice, encouraging people to overcome their fears.
Criticizing U.S. President Donald Trump, Chowdhury remarked that Trump’s inconsistent statements should not compel India to bow down. He stated, “We will challenge this; there is no falsehood in it. The entire country stands with you, and all leaders support you.”
Chowdhury highlighted that Gandhi speaks for justice. When the government commits injustices and oppresses the common people, it becomes Gandhi’s duty to oppose such actions, which he has been doing.
He further stated that the BJP’s extensive machinery is mobilized to belittle Gandhi, indicating their fear of him. “Gandhi himself tells everyone to not be afraid; this message is for all,” Chowdhury added.
The Congress leader also cautioned against attempts to intimidate Gandhi, asserting that such efforts would be futile, regardless of whether they come from the BJP or its ministers. “Gandhi does not speak falsehoods or promote injustice,” he said, urging the government to take responsibility for the nation’s conditions.
Chowdhury reiterated concerns about Trump’s unpredictable behavior, stating that his words cannot be trusted. He called for India to remain steadfast and prioritize its interests over Trump’s whims.
He pointed out that India requires oil and must import it due to insufficient domestic production. “We will buy oil from wherever it is convenient,” he noted, emphasizing that there should be no animosity towards Russia or Arab nations in this context.
Chowdhury insisted that India should have the freedom to choose its suppliers based on price and convenience. He criticized the government’s inconsistency, suggesting that it often sways under the pressure of Trump’s moods. “Our demand is clear: we must never sacrifice our interests for the whims of Trump,” he concluded.
