Leaders Pay Tribute to Sant Kabir Das on His Birth Anniversary

New Delhi, June 29: On the occasion of Sant Kabir Das’s birth anniversary, several leaders, including Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, paid their respects.

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, expressed his tribute on social media platform ‘X’, stating, “On the birth anniversary of Sant Kabir Das Ji, I offer my heartfelt homage. Wishing everyone a joyous Kabir Jayanti.”

Former Bihar Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP, Nitish Kumar, also took to ‘X’ to convey his greetings, saying, “Warm wishes on Kabir Jayanti. Sant Kabir was a great poet of the Bhakti movement in Hindi literature. Through his works, he opposed the social evils of his time. His philosophy and poetry are inspiring and exemplary for all of us.”

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta paid homage to Sant Kabir Das on his birth anniversary, stating on ‘X’, “The immortal words of Kabir Ji inspire society to stay away from superstitions and rituals, guiding us towards truth, love, equality, and human values. His thoughts will continue to strengthen harmony, unity, and moral values in society.”

On this occasion, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma described Sant Kabir Das as a pioneer of the Bhakti movement and a strong advocate for social harmony. He wrote, “His immortal words and philosophy have always inspired society to walk the path of equality, harmony, and moral values. His message of prioritizing humanity remains a guiding light in building an aware and harmonious society today.”

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary remarked, “Warm wishes to all the residents of the state on the birth anniversary of the great saint, social reformer, and proponent of the Nirguna Bhakti tradition, Sant Kabir Das Ji. His couplets, thoughts, and messages of humanity, equality, and harmony continue to provide new direction to society.”
