Alka Gurjar Honored After Rajya Sabha Election, Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra Attends

New Delhi, June 29: Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra honored Alka Gurjar, who was elected to the Rajya Sabha, during an event with OBC Morcha workers from East Delhi on Sunday.

Malhotra, along with MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, addressed the gathering of OBC Morcha workers and Shahdara district BJP officials. They expressed gratitude to Alka Gurjar for her organizational guidance over the past four years.

The event was chaired by Sunil Yadav, President of the OBC Morcha Delhi.

In his speech, Malhotra praised Gurjar for her understanding of the party’s workers and her role in strengthening the organization like a guardian. He noted that due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inspiration and Gurjar’s hard work, the OBC community has become part of the BJP’s traditional support base in Delhi.

Bidhuri remarked that for the first time since independence, four MPs have been elected from the Gurjar community. He highlighted Modi’s significant initiatives for the OBC community, which have provided leadership and trust from the assembly to the Lok Sabha.

He recalled that during the last assembly elections, he was the only representative from the backward class among eight BJP MLAs, yet the party entrusted him with the Leader of Opposition role.

Bidhuri emphasized that Delhi residents take pride in having a leader like Harsh Malhotra, who possesses both the intent and policy to work effectively.

Alka Gurjar received a grand welcome from OBC workers from East and North-East Delhi. Notable attendees included former MLA Naseeb Singh, 360 village panchayat president Surendra Solanki, and several other leaders.

Gurjar expressed her gratitude to the OBC community and the Delhi BJP organization, stating that the BJP is the only party that respects every worker, contributing to Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a developed India.

She mentioned that the Delhi BJP has a dual responsibility, aiming for both a developed India and a developed Delhi.

Gurjar added that after 27 years, the responsibilities have increased with the formation of the BJP government in Delhi. She urged workers to ensure that government schemes reach every individual, emphasizing the ongoing struggle of the Gurjar community for their rights since independence.

She concluded by acknowledging that Modi has not only secured their rights but has also integrated the community into the mainstream.
