Chief Minister Rekha Gupta described Rani Lakshmibai as an eternal symbol of Indian women’s strength and a great heroine of the freedom struggle. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath honored her as an immortal warrior of the First War of Independence, expressing deep respect on this significant day.
In a post on her social media account, CM Rekha Gupta wrote, “On the death anniversary of the great heroine of the freedom struggle, Rani Lakshmibai, I offer my humble tribute. Her unwavering courage, valor, and dedication to the motherland are a timeless symbol of Indian women’s strength. Her struggle against British rule and ultimate sacrifice is an inspiring tale of self-respect and patriotism. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also took to social media, stating, “On the death anniversary of the immortal warrior of the First War of Independence, Rani Lakshmibai, I bow in deep respect.
