In her message, the President stated, “On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the principal architect of the Indian Constitution and great social reformer Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, I pay my respectful homage. Dr. Ambedkar was a jurist, economist, and a powerful advocate for an egalitarian society. He not only paved the way to eliminate inequalities but also played a crucial role in strengthening India’s democratic values and constitutional rights.”

She further emphasized, “Dr. Ambedkar prioritized women’s education and rights. His multifaceted contributions will continue to inspire future generations to actively participate in the service and development of the nation. Let us resolve to embrace Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals in our lives and contribute to building a just, inclusive, and progressive India.”

PM Modi, while paying tribute to B.R. Ambedkar, described his contributions to nation-building as highly inspirational and enduring.

On the social media platform X, he wrote, “Tribute to Babasaheb Ambedkar on his birth anniversary. His efforts towards nation-building are extremely inspiring. His life and work will continue to motivate generations towards creating a just and progressive society.”

In another post, he remarked, “The personality and work of Babasaheb Ambedkar will remain a beacon for nation-building.” He also shared a Sanskrit verse that reads, “Ayo nijah paro veti ganana laghucetasam. Udaaracharitaanam tu vasudhaiva kutumbakam.”
