
New Delhi, May 31: The birth anniversary of the iconic symbol of women’s empowerment, Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar, is being celebrated across the nation. On this occasion, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, among other leaders, paid their respects to Lokmata Ahilyabai.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari took to social media platform ‘X’ to express, “Ahilyabai Holkar, the great philosopher of the Holkar dynasty and Lokmata, lived her life as a dignified and ideal ruler. She embodied numerous titles such as generous, capable, pious, and efficient administrator. On this auspicious occasion of her birth anniversary, I pay my humble tribute and salute her.”
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shared on ‘X’, “On the birth anniversary of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar, who set an example of ideal governance through the reconstruction of temples, ghats, and welfare schemes across the country, I bow down to her. Her exemplary work for the welfare of the people, prioritizing their interests, continues to inspire us towards good governance and public welfare.”
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma posted, “On the birth anniversary of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar, a symbol of women’s power, good governance, and public welfare, I offer my deepest respects. Her contributions to public service, justice, and the preservation of eternal heritage are inscribed in golden letters in Indian history. Her exemplary life will continue to inspire dedication, empathy, and service to the nation.”
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also paid tribute to Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar on her birth anniversary. CM Dhami wrote on ‘X’, “The life of Ahilyabai Holkar, dedicated to the upliftment of religion and culture, serves as an inspiration for all of us.”
Delhi Government Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa remarked, “On the birth anniversary of the great warrior, benevolent ruler, and unique symbol of women’s power, Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar, I offer my heartfelt respects.
