
New Delhi, March 22: On the occasion of Jyoti Jyot Day of the second Sikh Guru, Guru Angad Dev Ji, several prominent leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Minister for Road Transport Nitin Gadkari, paid their respects.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah took to social media platform ‘X’ to express, “Guru Angad Dev Ji developed the Gurmukhi script, making Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings accessible to all. He strengthened the traditions of langar and sangat, promoting service, equality, and brotherhood. His ideals continue to guide society today. I pay my heartfelt tribute on the Jyoti Jyot Day of Guru Angad Dev Ji.”
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also honored Guru Angad Dev Ji on this significant day.
Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan shared on ‘X’, “On the Jyoti Jyot Day of the revered second Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Angad Dev Ji Maharaj, I offer my heartfelt tributes. His life of service, compassion, and spirituality continues to illuminate the path for humanity’s welfare. I bow repeatedly at the feet of this great Guru.”
Pankaj Chaudhary, Union Minister of State and President of the Uttar Pradesh BJP, wrote, “On the Jyoti Jyot Day of Guru Angad Dev Ji, the second Guru of Sikhism, I pay my respects. His dedication to serving humanity and his teachings still guide us towards righteous and virtuous living.”
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini remarked, “On the Jyoti Jyot Day of Guru Angad Dev Ji, the second Guru of Sikhism, I extend my heartfelt tributes. By following the path of service, dedication, and humanity that he taught, we can strengthen unity, brotherhood, and harmony in society, which is the true tribute to him.”
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath posted, “On the Jyoti Jyot Day of the second Guru of the Sikh faith, the great saint Guru Angad Dev Ji Maharaj, I offer my heartfelt tributes. While spreading the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj, Guru Angad Dev Ji made service and discipline the core of his life. His teachings will always weave society together in unity and harmony.”
