
New Delhi, March 25: On March 25, several state chief ministers and Union Minister Shivraj Singh paid heartfelt tributes to the esteemed freedom fighter, journalist, and social reformer Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi on his death anniversary.
Union Minister and Uttar Pradesh BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary took to social media platform ‘X’ to express, “On the death anniversary of the fearless journalist Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi, who inspired revolutionaries through his writings during the freedom struggle, I pay my humble respects. He ignited a sense of nationalism among the masses with the power of his pen and played a pivotal role in the independence movement.”
Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, also shared his thoughts on ‘X’, stating, “I pay my humble respects on the death anniversary of the great freedom fighter and pioneer of Indian journalism, Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi, who raised his voice against the injustices and exploitation of the British government through his writings! Your profound ideas and ideal life will continue to inspire the youth to serve the nation and society.”
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath remarked on ‘X’, “On the death anniversary of the fearless, ethical, and people-centric journalist, the great freedom fighter Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi, I pay my humble respects. Your entire life, dedicated to serving society and the nation, will always inspire us on the path of national service.”
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini wrote on ‘X’, “I pay my humble respects on the death anniversary of the great freedom fighter and pillar of journalism, Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi, who challenged British rule with his strong nationalist ideas and fearless writing. His principles and ideal life will always motivate us to pursue truth, justice, and national service.”
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta expressed on ‘X’, “On the death anniversary of the great freedom fighter and unparalleled symbol of fearless journalism, Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi, I pay my humble respects. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai also shared his tribute on ‘X’, stating, “I bow in reverence to the great freedom fighter, immortal symbol of fearless journalism, and unparalleled servant of the people, Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi, on his death anniversary. His fearless writing and courageous personality against injustice, exploitation, and communalism continue to inspire us all.”
