Leaders Extend Greetings on the First Monday of Shravan, Emphasizing Spiritual Purity and Positive Energy

New Delhi, August 3: On the auspicious first Monday of the holy month of Shravan, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and several prominent leaders, including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, extended their best wishes to devotees of Lord Shiva. Om Birla stated that this day brings a message of worshiping Lord Shiva, spiritual purification, self-discipline, and positive energy.

In a post on the social media platform X, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla expressed, “Warm greetings to all citizens on the first Monday of the holy month of Shravan. This day conveys the essence of worshiping Lord Shiva, spiritual purification, self-discipline, and positive energy. The simple and benevolent form of Lord Bholenath inspires us to live with humility, patience, respect for nature, and a spirit of public welfare.”

Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda also shared his wishes, stating, “Heartfelt greetings to all devotees and worshippers on this sacred first Monday dedicated to the worship of Lord Mahadev. I hope that with the boundless grace of Lord Bholenath, this holy month brings happiness, prosperity, excellent health, peace, and spiritual energy into everyone’s lives. May every wish be fulfilled with Mahadev’s blessings.”

He further added, “On this day, let us resolve to incorporate the values of environmental protection, cleanliness, service, and humanity into our lives alongside our devotion to Lord Shiva. May the boundless grace of Lord Mahadev fill our lives with happiness, peace, excellent health, prosperity, success, and positive energy.”

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also conveyed his wishes to devotees and residents of the state on this auspicious occasion. He prayed for the blessings of Lord Mahadev to enrich the entire creation with happiness, prosperity, and public welfare.

Delhi’s Chief Minister Rekha Gupta posted, “Warm greetings to all citizens on the first Monday of Shravan. May every life be filled with the essence of Shiva, every family be happy, and the nation progress on the path of prosperity.”

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary extended his wishes, stating, “The first Monday of Shravan is a sacred opportunity for the worship of Lord Shiva, faith, and spiritual strength. May the grace of Lord Mahadev bring happiness, prosperity, excellent health, and peace into everyone’s lives.”

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, while wishing everyone on this holy occasion, wrote, “This pious festival dedicated to the worship, devotion, and practice of Lord Mahadev may bring happiness, peace, health, prosperity, and positive energy into everyone’s lives. May the boundless grace of Lord Bholenath bring prosperity to every household and keep the state on the path of progress.”
