Sri Vijaypuram, October 4 (Daily Kiran) : The Andaman and Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences (ANIIMS) in Sri Vijaypuram has announced a significant recruitment drive for 56 Senior Resident/Demonstrator positions across various departments. This announcement comes as a crucial opportunity for medical professionals seeking to advance their careers.

The available positions include: 2 in Anatomy, 3 in Physiology, 3 in Biochemistry, 2 in Pharmacology, 1 in Pathology, 4 in Microbiology, 1 in Forensic Medicine, 2 in Community Medicine, 3 in Pediatrics, 1 in TB and Chest, 1 in Psychiatry, 8 in General Medicine, 7 in General Surgery, 1 in Orthopedics, 1 in PMR, 3 in Anesthesiology, 2 in Radio-Diagnosis, 2 in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and 9 in Emergency Medicine.

The application process began on September 11 and will close on October 5. Candidates interested in applying are urged to complete their registration before the deadline.

To qualify, applicants must hold an MD, MS, DNB, or PhD from a recognized institution in a relevant field. Additionally, they must meet the eligibility criteria for teaching positions in medical institutions as per the Medical Institutions Teachers Eligibility and Qualification Rules 2025.

Selection will be based on application scrutiny, interviews, and document verification. Successful candidates can expect a monthly salary of ₹145,000 for MD/MS/DNB holders and ₹120,000 for PhD candidates.

All applicants must pay a nominal application fee of ₹500 online, which is mandatory for their application to be considered.
