Mumbai, August 13: TV actor Kushal Tandon has recently found himself in the spotlight due to mentions by fellow contestants Shreya Kalra and Shivangi Joshi on the reality show ‘Lockup: Truth or Punishment.’ In a recent conversation, he addressed the situation with a light-hearted approach.
Kushal humorously remarked that the discussions surrounding him on ‘Lockup’ have been so extensive that he has decided to send a bill to TV queen Ekta Kapoor.
He stated, “I sent Ekta Kapoor a bill with GST because my name has been circulating in the multiverse—inside the house, outside, and even on other shows. So, I decided to send a bill to Lockup. Since I am associated with her company, I expect a check soon.”
During ‘Lockup 2,’ contestant Shreya Kalra claimed that when Kushal was in a relationship with Shivangi, he had sent her a direct message (DM), which led to a dispute and eventual breakup with Shivangi.
Shreya revealed in a conversation with Shilpa Shinde that after a promotional shoot with Kushal, he had messaged her. When Shivangi learned of this, Kushal attempted to make it seem as though Shreya had initiated the conversation.
To reveal the truth, Shreya showed Shivangi screenshots of their old chats, which clearly indicated that Kushal had approached her first. Upon viewing the chats, Shivangi became quite emotional and was seen crying on set.
At the time of Shreya’s claims, Kushal was participating in the reality show ‘The Alliance,’ where 16 contestants entered as associates. In the fourth week, Kashish Kapoor entered as a wildcard contestant. When Kashish mentioned Shreya Kalra to Kushal, he immediately denied knowing her well and asserted that he had not sent any initial messages.
