Keshav Prasad Maurya Highlights Government Achievements in Moradabad

Moradabad, June 14: Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya visited Moradabad on Sunday, where he reviewed the progress of various government schemes at a development exhibition. Officials provided him with detailed updates on the implementation of development projects and welfare initiatives.

Maurya highlighted the achievements of the central government over the past 12 years. He stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s leadership, the country has made significant strides in development, security, infrastructure, welfare for the poor, and global reputation. Today, India has emerged as a strong and decisive power on the world stage.

He remarked, “Since independence, the country has faced challenges such as terrorism, naxalism, extremism, and communal tensions. However, the current government has effectively addressed these issues. India is now capable of giving a strong response to any terrorist attack, and the government’s policy on national security is clear and firm.”

Speaking on women’s empowerment, Maurya stated, “In line with Prime Minister Modi’s vision, extensive efforts are being made to economically and socially empower women. In Uttar Pradesh, the goal is to connect nearly three crore women with various schemes and to create one crore ‘Lakhpati Didis.’ Work is progressing rapidly in this direction, and positive results will be seen soon.”

He mentioned the achievements of the double-engine government at both the central and state levels, emphasizing that the pace of development has significantly increased. The current government prioritizes good governance, transparency, and accountability, contrasting sharply with previous administrations that were plagued by corruption and nepotism.

Maurya criticized opposition parties, stating that those who have engaged in politics of promises for years are now questioning development initiatives. The BJP government does not merely make announcements; it delivers results by implementing plans on the ground. This is why public trust in the BJP and its policies continues to grow.
