Ranchi, June 23: The Jharkhand State Cricket Association International Cricket Stadium hosted two thrilling semi-finals of the Jharkhand T20 Cricket League 2026 on Monday.

In the first semi-final, the Jamshedpur Steelers triumphed over the Koylanchal Super Kings. Meanwhile, the Chotanagpur Royals eliminated the Ranchi Titans in the second semi-final while chasing a substantial score.

Both matches showcased dominant batting performances. The Jamshedpur Steelers and Chotanagpur Royals secured their spots in the final by defeating their opponents.

In the first semi-final, the Jamshedpur Steelers defeated the Koylanchal Super Kings by 79 runs. Kumar Karan played a spectacular innings, scoring an unbeaten 143 runs off 63 balls, including 8 fours and 3 sixes. Ravi Sharma also contributed with a solid 81 runs from 46 balls.

Batting first, the Jamshedpur Steelers set a formidable target of 250 runs, losing just 2 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. The Koylanchal Super Kings’ captain scored a century with 101 runs, but his efforts were not enough to secure victory, as no other batsman crossed the 20-run mark. Thus, the Jamshedpur Steelers advanced to the final with a 79-run win.

In the second semi-final, the Ranchi Titans batted first, posting a strong total of 220 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their 20 overs. Shreshth scored a half-century with 62 runs off 36 balls, while Aryan Hooda (29), Priyanshu Choubey (24), Rajdeep Singh (24), and Kumar Ankit (23) provided valuable contributions to surpass the 200-run mark.

Chasing a target of 221 runs, the Chotanagpur Royals successfully reached 221 runs for the loss of 3 wickets, securing their place in the final. The opening pair of MD Nazim Siddiqui and captain Virat Singh gave the team a strong start with a 97-run partnership. Siddiqui scored 43 runs, while captain Virat Singh contributed 77 runs. Kumar Kushagra added a quick 58 runs off just 26 balls, and Shreshth Sagar finished with an unbeaten 27 runs, leading the team to a remarkable victory.
