Patna, September 18 (Daily Kiran) : The Janata Dal (United) held its inaugural orientation program in Patna on September 18, 2026, focusing on the achievements of the Bihar model. MLC Neeraj Kumar led discussions on various topics, including financial management, revenue growth, budgeting, and compliance with the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (FRBM) Act. The event was inaugurated by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and guided by party’s national vice president Sanjay Jha and state president Umesh Singh Kushwaha.
During the program, Kumar emphasized the importance of reviewing the implementation of the seven resolutions aimed at improving welfare for all sections of society. He stated that members expressed a desire for data on how these initiatives have benefited different groups across various sectors.
Kumar praised the address by Nishant Kumar, who articulated that Nitish Kumar is known for commitment to action rather than mere announcements. Nishant urged attendees to observe the remaining tasks related to the resolutions and compile reports for further collaboration with Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary to resolve any outstanding issues. Kumar described Nishant’s speech as one of the most powerful and impactful he had ever heard.
