
New Delhi, October 9 (Daily Kiran) : A Japanese military delegation recently held important discussions with officials from the Indian Army and the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) in New Delhi. The talks, which took place from October 4 to October 9, aimed to strengthen defense cooperation, military training, and mutual understanding in advanced technology between the two nations.
The delegation, comprised of 34 members from the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, had the opportunity to learn about India’s defense capabilities and military training systems. They also met with officials from the Centre for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS) and the Warfare Development and Research Centre (WDRC). These interactions provided insights into military studies, research related to warfare, and various aspects of technological development in defense.
During their visit, the Japanese officials toured several Indian institutions and engaged in discussions with representatives from the Indian Army and DRDO. The itinerary included a cultural program designed to familiarize the delegation with India’s rich heritage, offering them a closer look at the country’s traditions and culture.
