New Delhi, March 10: The conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran has now entered its ninth day. In this context, Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, has addressed what he describes as an American conspiracy, stating, “Iran is fully prepared.”
In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, Minister Araghchi remarked, “Nine days after Operation Epic Mistake, oil prices have doubled, and all goods are rapidly becoming more expensive. We are aware that the U.S. is planning against our oil and nuclear sites to control the significant shocks of high prices. Iran is completely ready.”
He added, “We also have many exciting surprises for you.”
Earlier today, Foreign Minister Araghchi congratulated Iran on the appointment of its new Supreme Leader. He stated that this election would strengthen the country’s sovereignty and integrity.
Araghchi expressed his congratulations to Ayatollah Seyyed Mujtaba Hosseini Khamenei on being elected as the third leader of the Islamic Revolution, commending the great people of Iran. He emphasized that in the current challenging circumstances, this election will undoubtedly guarantee the national sovereignty and regional integrity of our beloved country, while also fostering unity among the Iranian people.
He further declared, “All diplomats of the Islamic Republic of Iran pledge their loyalty to the third leader of the Islamic Revolution, and we will spare no effort in defending the rights of our great nation, advancing national interests and security, and fulfilling the grand objectives of Iran’s Islamic Revolution. The flag shall never fall from the hands of its bearers.”
In a weekly media briefing, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baghaei claimed that diplomatic avenues have been closed due to the actions of the U.S., asserting that Tehran is not responsible for this situation. He stated, “This war has been imposed. Now, the people of Iran are united in defending their country. The attacks from the U.S. and Israel have violated international laws.”
