Iran Rejects US Proposal, Calls Trump’s Presidency a Therapy Session

Tehran, May 11: Iran has officially rejected the United States’ 14-point proposal and sent a new draft to Washington. In response, U.S. President Donald Trump dismissed Iran’s new draft outright. The Iranian embassy in India has also reacted to Trump’s statements.

The Iranian embassy took to social media platform X to comment, stating, “Details of Iran’s response to the U.S. plan, which the American president called ‘unacceptable.’ Iran’s proposal emphasizes the fundamental rights of the Iranian nation. Iran has rejected the U.S. plan. Accepting it would mean Tehran yielding to Trump’s excessive demands.”

Furthermore, the Iranian embassy emphasized that Iran’s plan insists on the necessity for the U.S. to compensate for the war and ensures Iran’s sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has stressed the need to lift sanctions and release the country’s seized assets and properties.

In a sarcastic remark, the Iranian embassy in Ghana responded to a statement by Trump, suggesting that while the U.S. president claims to have ‘read’ something, the essence of that material remains a mystery to him. Despite this, he seems confident that he did not like it. Reports suggest that Trump is merely seeking to attract global attention. Internal sources from the White House have confirmed that his entire presidency has been nothing more than a ‘multi-billion dollar therapy session,’ a form of treatment he never received in his childhood.

In fact, regarding the proposal sent by Iran, President Trump posted on Truth Social, stating, “I just read the so-called ‘representatives’ of Iran’s response. I did not like it, not at all!”

Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB mentioned on its Telegram channel that the U.S. plan implies Iran’s surrender to Trump’s greed, while Tehran’s response underscores Iran’s fundamental rights.

Additionally, Iran’s new proposal stresses the need for U.S. compensation for the war and emphasizes Iran’s sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz. It also highlights the necessity of lifting sanctions and returning the country’s seized funds and properties.
