New Delhi, (Kiran News): Apple’s newly launched iPhone Air is drawing attention not just for its slim 5.6mm titanium design, but also for its unexpectedly strong battery performance. The device comes with a modest 3,149 mAh cell—significantly smaller than the 6,000 mAh batteries seen in many Android phones. Yet, early tests suggest Apple’s efficiency-focused approach is paying off.

Battery Test Results
YouTuber XEETECHCARE conducted a full drain test and recorded nearly nine hours of screen time (8 hours 57 minutes) on the iPhone Air. This result narrowly surpassed Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge, which lasted 8 hours 45 minutes despite its larger 3,900 mAh battery.
Similarly, Tom’s Guide reported that in continuous web browsing tests, the iPhone Air lasted 12 hours and 2 minutes, compared to the S25 Edge’s 11 hours and 48 minutes. In video streaming, the difference was even more striking: after five hours, the Air retained 81% battery, while Samsung’s model was left at 67%.
Efficiency Over Size
The findings highlight Apple’s long-standing focus on hardware–software integration. Instead of relying on a large battery, the iPhone Air delivers endurance through careful optimization, proving that size isn’t the only factor in real-world usage.
With these results, the iPhone Air shows that even with a smaller power unit, it can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with larger Android rivals in everyday performance.
