New Delhi, August 11: Admiral Krishna Swaminathan, the Chief of the Indian Navy, is currently on an official visit to Mauritius. At the start of his trip, he met with key officials, including Kan Oe Phong Veng-Purn, the Secretary for Home and Defense, Police Commissioner Ramprasad Surujbally, and India’s High Commissioner to Mauritius, Anurag Srivastava.
During these discussions, several important issues were addressed, particularly focusing on strengthening maritime security cooperation between India and Mauritius. The talks emphasized enhancing the capabilities of the Mauritius National Coast Guard and joint monitoring of the exclusive economic zones of both nations.
