BJP Legislators Celebrate National Unity with Tricolor March in New Delhi

New Delhi, August 11: On Monday, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta led a Tricolor March at the Delhi Assembly complex alongside legislators. The march commenced at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi and concluded at the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Leaders described the event as a symbol of the country’s unity, commitment to democratic values, and the ideals enshrined in the Constitution.

After the march, leaders emphasized that the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga‘ campaign would strengthen the spirit of patriotism among the people. Deputy Speaker and BJP legislator Mohan Singh Bisht stated, “The Tricolor March is intrinsically linked to our honor, dignity, and self-respect. The Tricolor is not merely a piece of cloth; it is connected to our emotions. The Ashoka Chakra reminds us of the passage of time. When we observe the other elements of the flag, it undoubtedly ignites a sense of self-respect and pride within us.”

He added that when Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga‘ initiative, every Indian felt that this flag, with its three colors, was something extraordinary. Many brave souls faced bullets at the borders for this flag, sacrificing their lives.

Minister Ashish Sood urged citizens to pledge their commitment to serve the nation and Delhi under the shadow of the Tricolor. He remarked, “The Tricolor symbolizes the honor, pride, and glory of this country.”

Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh noted, “Today, we are not just conducting a Tricolor March. Every citizen of the country is connected to this. From Yoga Day to various national occasions, the Prime Minister has transformed numerous events into nationwide celebrations. The Tricolor is deeply embedded in our hearts and symbolizes our honor, pride, and dignity.”

BJP legislator Shikha Roy expressed, “The Tricolor represents our honor, dignity, and pride. It brings us immense joy. As we enter August, we eagerly await August 15 as much as we do for our birthdays or family celebrations. The message through this Tricolor March is that our flag continues to wave proudly across the world. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the pride of this flag has multiplied globally, and we want to ensure it remains respected. We must work together to raise this flag even higher. That is the message we wish to convey.”

Legislator Ajay Mahawar stated, “This is a significant moment of pride for the people of India. Independence Day is an important occasion for all Indians, and therefore, on the last day of the session, all legislators are participating in the Tricolor March led by the Chief Minister.”

Legislator Anil Goyal remarked, “The Tricolor March symbolizes our honor, my self-respect, and the freedom of our country, for which thousands have sacrificed their lives. Today, in honor of the Tricolor, our Chief Minister is leading the march in the Assembly.”
