Indian Army Recruitment Alert: Apply Now for 70 Positions Before the Deadline

New Delhi, August 17: Millions of young individuals aspire to join the Indian Army and serve their country. If you are one of them, a golden opportunity is knocking at your door. The Indian Army has announced an official notification inviting applications for 70 positions under the NCC Special Entry Scheme – 125th Course for Short Service Commission (Non-Tech) for unmarried males, including dependents of soldiers who have died in action.

Out of the 70 vacancies, 63 are for the general category, while 7 are specifically for children of soldiers who have lost their lives in combat. The online application process began on July 20 at 3 PM, and the last date to apply is August 20. Candidates who wish to fill out the application form are advised to complete their registration successfully on the Indian Army’s official website by the deadline.

Applicants must possess a graduation degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution or university. The minimum age for candidates is set at 19 years, while the maximum age is 25 years, calculated as of January 1, 2027.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on application shortlisting, SSB interviews, medical tests, and merit lists. The training duration will be 49 weeks starting in April 2027. During training, candidates will receive a stipend of ₹56,100 per month. Upon successful completion, selected candidates will hold the rank of Lieutenant with an annual CTC ranging between ₹17 to ₹18 lakh. Additionally, candidates will receive various other benefits and allowances.
