India-Japan Friendship Paves New Path for Shared Prosperity, Says CM Yogi

Lucknow, October 7 (Daily Kiran) : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently characterized the India-Japan friendship as a bridge of trust, a partnership for development, and a testament to the warmth of two ancient cultures. In a post on social media platform X, he noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the late former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe have elevated this bond to new heights.

On Wednesday, the ‘Abe Memorial Corridor’ was inaugurated, honoring the memories of Shinzo Abe. The event took place at the Rudraksh Convention Center in Kashi, where CM Yogi participated in the celebrations. He emphasized the economic dimensions of India-Japan relations, stating that the camaraderie between the two nations is now transforming into a powerful economic partnership. Uttar Pradesh has signed memorandums of understanding worth nearly ₹90,000 crores with Japanese companies.

Adityanath pointed out that the relationship between India and Japan is rooted in trust and development. The shared cultural heritage between the two civilizations enhances the significance of their ties. He remarked that the connection between Kashi and Kyoto is advancing this relationship, stating, “From faith to economy, this friendship is now creating a new path for shared prosperity.”

Kashi and Kyoto are two ancient cities with centuries-old religious, cultural, and historical legacies. The Kashi-Kyoto partnership has evolved the India-Japan friendship beyond cultural ties, linking heritage preservation, tourism, and development through a collaborative model.

During this event, CM Yogi will also participate in various programs alongside National President Nitin Naveen. Naveen will hold a public meeting, which will also feature Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and UP BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary, along with Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya. This meeting marks Nitin Naveen’s first public gathering as National President in Kashi.

Additionally, CM Yogi extended his congratulations to the personnel of the Rapid Action Force (RAF) on their establishment day. He praised their dedication to the nation’s internal security, writing on X, “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all brave soldiers and their families on the establishment day of the Rapid Action Force, dedicated to maintaining national integrity and strengthening social harmony.”
