Patna, June 3: In response to a shooting incident outside the well-known educator and YouTuber Khan Sir’s coaching center in Patna, Bihar’s capital, security measures have been significantly heightened. A large police presence has been deployed, and patrols in the area have been intensified following the event.
According to reports, the shooting occurred on the night of June 2 near the coaching center located in the Musallahpur police station area, where a guard was also assaulted. This incident has instilled fear among local residents, prompting police to arrive on the scene and initiate an investigation.
Khan Sir stated that some anti-social elements attacked the coaching center’s guard, resulting in the guard being hospitalized. He mentioned that certain individuals are upset about the low fees charged for education at the institution, which he believes has led to such violent incidents.
He expressed, “We always work for the welfare of children, but some uncivilized people came here and assaulted our staff.”
Following the incident, police have reinforced security measures. Authorities are currently investigating the case and reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity to identify the perpetrators.
It is noteworthy that this is not the first time a criminal incident has been reported near Khan Sir’s institution. Previously, on May 10, 2019, the coaching center was targeted in a bomb attack using homemade explosives. At that time, unknown assailants threw two bombs outside the Khan GS Research Center, located in the Musallahpur Haat area, around 10 AM.
That attack caused damage to a part of the coaching institute’s office, but fortunately, there were no reported casualties.
