Honor Magic V6 Foldable Expected to Launch by March

Honor has recently launched the Magic 8 RSR and Magic 8 Air models in China, and the brand is now preparing to introduce its next flagship device, the Honor Magic V6 foldable. This new phone is set to compete with popular foldables like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Oppo Find N6.

According to reliable sources, the Magic V6 is ready for release and is internally known by the codename Phenom. The device is expected to debut around March and will be available in multiple colours, including Snow White, Velvet Black, Sunrise Gold, and Red Rabbit.

On the technical front, the Magic V6 reportedly features a large 7,000mAh battery housed in an ultra-thin fiberglass body. This specification has been confirmed through a recent 3C certification in China.

The foldable will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which continues Honor’s trend of using cutting-edge Qualcomm processors in its premium devices. The camera setup is said to include a 200MP primary sensor combined with a periscope telephoto lens for advanced photography capabilities.

Additional premium features expected in the Magic V6 include wireless charging support, comprehensive water resistance, and BeiDou satellite communication functionality.

For comparison, Honor’s Magic V5, launched in July last year, came with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, an 8.8mm slim profile, a weight of 219 grams, and a 6,100mAh battery. It also supported 50W wireless charging, a periscope telephoto camera, and BeiDou connectivity.

If the Magic V6 launch takes place in March as anticipated, official teasers are likely to appear by mid to late February. Further updates on the device will be shared as they become available.
