
Patna, April 6: Bihar’s Buxar police have successfully resolved three serious cases, including kidnapping and murder, in a short span of time.
Superintendent of Police Shubham Arya announced on Monday that in a significant achievement, the police rescued a kidnapped youth within just six hours of the incident.
The assailants had abducted the victim and demanded ransom. However, a special police team acted swiftly, utilizing technical surveillance and targeted raids to apprehend the criminals.
During this operation, three suspects were arrested. Based on information gathered during interrogation, the police set up a blockade near the Buxar roundabout. Upon noticing the police presence, the kidnappers abandoned the victim nearby and fled. The victim was safely recovered. Our special team conducted raids on suspected locations of those involved in the abduction.
The police reported that three individuals were arrested in the Gagaur area under the jurisdiction of the Buxar Industrial Police Station. During questioning, they revealed that the kidnapped youth was being taken to Uttar Pradesh by their accomplices. Acting on this information, the police established a blockade at the Buxar roundabout. The accused fled, leaving the victim behind as soon as they spotted the police.
An FIR has been registered at the Buxar Town Police Station, and efforts to apprehend the remaining suspects are ongoing.
In another significant development, the police solved a murder case related to a land dispute. As a result of the investigation, the main accused, along with the shooter and other accomplices, were arrested. Officials stated that scientific methods and evidence-based inquiries led to the unraveling of the entire conspiracy.
The third case involved the murder of a woman due to a personal dispute. The police acted promptly, arresting the accused mother and daughter. Additionally, a minor violating the law was also taken into custody.
Buxar police reiterated their commitment to taking stringent action against criminals and ensuring public safety throughout the district.
